38 Days Til Christmas

Why is it that the stores feel it necessary to smack the Christmas shit up before Thanksgiving is even over?! We went to get diapers this evening and a certain discount superstore (that shall remain nameless since it will become the fall of US civilization as we know it, lol) has decided that it's perfectly reasonable to play Christmas carols...all ready...like right now they're streaming in over your head. I couldn't believe it. And guess what was over in the greeting cards? Yup, Valentines. It's not even December yet for pete's sake. I mean common...gimme a break!
